About Gibble’s Snacks
That Was Then…
In the 1950s, the Gibble family ran a stand in a local farmers market, offering a variety of goods to their Pennsylvania neighbors. But something was missing—a truly great potato chip to complement their other offerings. When they couldn’t find one that met their standards for quality and taste, they did what any self-respecting snack lover would do: they made their own.
Using an old family recipe, the Gibbles began handcrafting home-style potato chips to sell alongside their goods. It didn’t take long before word spread—and soon, customers were coming back for the chips more than anything else. A snack tradition was born.
As demand grew, so did the business. The family built a production plant behind their home in Chambersburg, PA, and focused entirely on what they did best: making crave-worthy snacks.
